My name is Andrea L. Clark, I am a single mother of four beautiful children and the grandmother of 8!. I didn't start out as a single parent but due to circumstances outside of my control I became one. In the course of life I have helped raise other children that I did not give birth to because the parents were not able to take care them due to various addictions and financial issues.
As a single parent I found that whenever I needed help I was always told that I "made too much money" but you couldn't tell me that when I was having a hard time making ends meet and going from one paycheck to another. I was never on drugs or anything so the many options that were out there were only set up if I had some sort of addiction. I feel that there needs to be more help out there for single mothers (parents) who even though they are working they are still able to get help! I know the struggle of the single mother is a real issue in the world that needs to be addressed.
I founded M.O.M so that I can help make a difference in the lives other single mothers by helping them to find resources and various programs to help them reach their goals of self sufficiency.
My name is Juanita Marie Hairston. I was born in Dalton, Georgia and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I served in the Army for 8 years. I am a single parent of 5 children, 3 of them are my sister’s children and 2 of my own.

To be an example for my children; I decided to go to school to get a degree to enhance my career. After my career was sidetracked by a merger, I started over after moving to Florida. I continued my education and now have a MBA and a Master’s degree in Information Technology.

My interest now at this stage in my life is to help others by using my education and experience in any way that I can.
My name is Shernada Williams, I became a mother in 1995 at the age of 16 years old to my eldest daughter. She brought me so much joy in my life. But it was also hard trying to raise a baby and finish school. I ended up dropping out in my Senior year because I was pregnant with child number two. However I did get me G.E.D. I scored high enough that it says High School
Diploma.

I am very proud of myself. I had three more by the year 2002. In the year of 2001 I had a child that passed away of S.I.D.S. That was a depressing time in my life. The court system got involved. I lost custody of my kids. I am very pleased that I had a family that could receive my kids. It gave me the opportunity to still spend time with them. Even though I did not have them I still struggle to help take care of them. I was paying Child Support and doing what I could.
There have been other joys in my life. Then I was Blessed to become a MeeMaw (Grandmother) in the year of 2006 with my first Grandchild. Then I received three more grandkids. They bring me so much joy in my life. I still have a long road to go.
